Common questions
How many cameras does a house need?
Many homes are well covered with three to four cameras at the front, rear and side access. We recommend a number after the survey.
Can I watch my home cameras on my phone?
Yes. We set up remote viewing, test it and show you how to use it.
Will CCTV work if the power or internet goes down?
The recorder keeps recording during an internet outage. A backup power supply can be added for power cuts.
Do I need permission to install home CCTV?
Homeowners can normally install cameras on their own property. Cameras that capture neighbours or public areas can fall under UK data protection rules, and we advise on this.
